DailyInventory.net (“Daily Inventory,” “we,” “our,” or “us”)
1. Information We Collect
- Account data – name, email address, password (hashed)
- Journal entries – every answer you save in the inventory wizard
- Technical data – IP address, browser type, device info, cookies
- Support conversations – messages sent through the Contact form
2. Why We Collect It
- To create, secure, and maintain user accounts
- To store and display daily inventory entries to the user
- To improve the app via aggregated, anonymous analytics
- To reply to questions or technical issues
3. Legal Basis for Processing
We process data only with the user’s consent (when signing up and using the service) or when it is necessary to deliver requested features.
4. How We Protect Your Data
We follow industry best practices and have built the platform with HIPAA security principles in mind (we are not HIPAA-certified).
- All traffic is forced over TLS 1.2/1.3.
- Passwords are salted and hashed using bcrypt.
- Journal content is stored in an encrypted database volume.
- Production data access is limited to vetted staff behind MFA and least-privilege roles.
5. Data Retention
We keep user data as long as the account remains active. Users can export or delete their inventories at any time via Settings or by emailing us. Deleted records are removed from live databases immediately; encrypted backups expire within 30 days.
6. Your Choices & Rights
- Access, correct, export, or delete personal data
- Withdraw consent and close the account
- Disable non-essential cookies in the browser

7. Children’s Privacy
Daily Inventory is for ages 13+. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted data so we can remove it.
.8 International Users
We are based in the United States. By using the service from outside the U.S., you consent to the transfer and storage of your data on U.S. servers.

Material changes will be announced by email or in-app banner. The “Last updated” date reflects the current version.
